Pattaya (Thailand) – May 28, 2017 (travelindex) – Best Western Hotels & Resorts has celebrated the start of construction work on a major new hotel project close to the popular Thai beach resort of Pattaya. Thai real estate company, Habitat Group Co., Ltd., is working with Best Western Hotels & Resorts to create the new Best Western Premier Bayphere Pattaya – an exciting eight-story upscale hotel in Na Jomtien, a serene beachfront destination just a few minutes’ drive from downtown Pattaya.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by (pictured, from left): Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ Managing Director of International Operations – Asia; Chanin Vanijwongse, Chief Executive Officer of Habitat Group Co., Ltd; Sasivimol Sutthibut, Chief Operating Officer of Habitat Group Co., Ltd; and Frank Khan, Executive Director and Head of Residential for Knight Frank Chartered (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
“We are delighted to celebrate this landmark occasion with our esteemed partners from Habitat Group,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western’s Managing Director of International Operations – Asia. “Best Western Premier Bayphere Pattaya is an exceptional project that will fulfil the growing need for a high-quality, international-standard accommodation on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard – one of Asia’s most up-and-coming resort destinations.”
“We look forward to seeing the continued development of this exciting project in the coming months. It will no doubt become one of the finest hotels in the area, and another great example of the new era of modern, state-of-the-art Best Western Hotels & Resorts that are rising all across Asia,” Olivier added.
Once completed in the fourth quarter of 2018, Best Western Premier Bayphere Pattaya will feature 174 contemporary, well-equipped rooms, plus a vast array of amenities that maximize their stunning tropical surroundings. These include an open-air lobby, infinity-edged swimming pool, Jacuzzis and sunset cabanas, a rooftop garden, well-equipped fitness center, and a playground for kids.
Guests will also be able to dine on exquisite Thai and international cuisines at the hotel’s on-site restaurant, enjoy daytime coffee, snacks and cooling drinks at the lobby bar, or sip creative cocktails at the Sky Bar whilst gazing out over the Gulf of Thailand. And for corporate guests there is a business center offering a selection of professional services, plus complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Na Jomtien is located just a few minutes down the golden coast from Pattaya, the popular Thai resort town. Lapped by the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand, it is easily accessible from Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport and the fast-expanding U-Tapao Airport, which serves Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.
Best Western Hotels & Resorts is also working with Habitat Group on another project in the area, BluPhere Pattaya, which will join the company’s prestigious BW Premier Collection® brand in 2020. These brand new upscale properties will complement Best Western’s existing collection of eight hotels and resorts in Thailand, with many more in the pipeline.
